Mac Finder "Open With" not working

Hi. I want to use Lightroom to catalog my files, but CaptureOne to edit them. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the Finder to open a file in CaptureOne. It sees the app, but when I select CaptureOne, nothing happens. Works fine with all my other apps though.

I trashed and reinstalled CaptureOne (latest version, registered owner) and that does not work.

Yosemite 10.10.1 imac 3.4GHz 32GB

  Does CO open?
  
  If CO opens does it open using a catalog or session. I believe for it to work you have to be using sessions. So the last time CO was opened make sure a session was used.

  Using sessions or catalogs does not seem to matter. However, the app opens up to the selected photo in the catalog, not the photo selected by the finder, if that makes sense...
