Do somebody know why tags on the last captured picture are transferred to following images while shooting tethered in 5.1.?
This is an very old issue of an early version 4. Unfortunately it seems to be revived. ☹️

Dual monitor mode
We are waiting for a long time, but nothing happened so far concerning the dual monitor mode:
As long as C1 is active everything is fine on 2nd monitor for photographer or client.
As soon as you switch to another application (e.g. Finder, Photoshop) the 2nd monitor looses the C1 window.
This is really annoying for people on the monitor.
Is there an way to avoid that?

    Regarding tagging (I assume it is during tethering), you might want to read this thread:

    Regarding the dual monitor mode issue:
    To my best knowledge this is the current state. It has been different in one of the first CO 4 Pro releases in that the second viewer remained visible when switching to another application. You could do a feature request in a support case.

    Hopefully they will kick this useless function out of sight as nobody needs a rating to be transferred to incoming images...
    Quite strange that they solved that issue in previous versions.

    Regarding the monitor I will create a support case. Waited long enough for a solution...

    As we had some other issues in 5.1. we won't use it anyway. 5.0.2 is fine so far.

    As noted in the thread Paul sent, the tag status will be adjusted in an update.
    In regard to the dual monitor feature, we do not have any feature requests for the function you described and you are welcome to create one. The only support case we have with you is from last November and was left off waiting for some files from you.

    this must be a misunderstanding.
    I never mentioned I opened a support case regarding dual monitor mode. Just said "I WILL ...".
    Our support case of November was a totally different (finally solved!) issue!.

    (Tagging) Our observation surrounding this is that it occurs on Mac OS 10.5 but not in 10.6.
    Can you verify that you have 10.5 (or not)

    Yep,
    we're still using 10.5 as 10.6 has some issues with basiccolor.

    See the other problems we had with 5.1. listed below:
    - favourites can be corrupted (like you already mentioned in forum)
    - browser scrollbar remains often on top position while shooting tethered
    - camera (P65) disconnects when changing workspaces
    - gridlines are hard to grab
    - capture speed seams to be shrunk (mac pro 8core, newest) (not really sure)
    - spot tool does not work correctly
