Exposure warning Showing in Print Module???
My system is ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard with Core 2 Quad 6700 and 8gig RAM running very latest BIOS with ATI 5770 graphics card also with very latest drivers. I am using CO6 express. Open CL is on Auto.
I notice that when I open the print module the pre-view highlight areas are coloured with blocks of colour, pale blue and dark blue if I select one type of paper in color profile drop down but then yellow, red, black and a little blue if I select a different paper ICC profile.
Is this behavior to be expected or not and what do the colours mean?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Of course this behavior only occurs when OpenCL is switched to auto, it goes away when OpenCL is switched to never 🤬

It looks the Open CL anomaly is also present in the print module. It kind of makes sense since Open CL is at the heart of screen rendering. Until it is fixed, Open CL opens its own can of worms.
My support case about the Open CL redraw anomaly is closed with the statement of "Thank you for the feedback. We have seen this behavior with some OpenCL driver conflicts. We are working to improve this feature but at this time it is the limit of OpenCL on you system.".
Basically, we have to live with it. Now I need a hot key just to turn the Open CL on and off for various things! ☹️0 -
Nelson, thank's for your input. I'm wondering whether to raise a case or not - I suppose I ought to the more data the software writers have the better 👿 0 -
I did not raise a support case because something went wrong when I tried. Anyway I have just gone through 200+ Nikon D700 RAW files, examining them with loupe, correcting exposure, cropping and rotating a few and deleting half of them and now I find the print module does not show a pre-view at all with openCL switched on. 🙄 However if I shut CO6 down and re-start it the print module then works as before with OpenCL turned on. 0 -
David532, I like to encourage you to file a case anyway. I think your experiences are worthwhile. I don't know what went wrong, but if I may do a wild guess, skip the first entry field for the registration. 0 -

Will do later today, have now upgraded to Pro version and have a few other observations to make about oddities when OpenCL is running.0 -
The problem has suddenly gone away 🙄 The only change I made to my computer was to turn off that memory hog Trusteer Rapport that my bank insisted I install on my PC. 🤬 0
