Capture one 10 catalog not compatible

Capture one 11 duplicates all images when opening a catalogue created by Capture one 10 . Capture one 10 was not deleted by the installation of Capture one 11.

Is it safe to delete Capture one 10?

How to only have one copy of the image in Capture one 11 when opening a Capture one 10 catalog? 😐

  Are you using a Managed catalog or a Referenced catalog or a combination of both possibilities?

  Referenced. I'm not sure what a "combination of both possibilities" is. Now that you mention it my managed catalogues appear to update to the new version without the duplication.

  As far as I know there is nothing to stop you having both managed and referenced images in the same catalog.
  
  Personally I see no harm in keeping older versions of C1 (or any other applications where possible) on my systems.
  
  I can't comment about duplicate files in the catalogs - I'm not a regular catalog user and have not looked in detail at what happens in the V10 to V11 upgrade but I would suggest you keep both for a while - it's good practise with any application for new releases in case some hidden problem arises.
