Styles accessibility

I agree. I find it one of the main bugbears with C1. It would be nice if we could dock styles/presets and roll the mouse over each one like you can do in Lightroom. I use C1 Film Styles which is a nice alternative to VSCO in Lightroom. In C1 I have to click on the styles icon, scroll down to C1 Film Styles and then scroll down the list of presets. Having the option to dock any of these presets would make things far more efficient and user friendly.

I don't use styles at all myself, but I'm wondering - you can assign specific functions to keystrokes in Capture One, so might it be possible to assign the Styles dialogue to a keystroke?

That's probably speed things up if it's doable.

Most applications offering Styles seem to want (probably need) to organise the Styles or presets in groups. It makes sense if there are a lot of them of course..

I don't use styles much but I note that when saving something as a preset or style I have the option to create a sub group or add to an existing group. If I don't add to a sub group I get a flat list which is relatively accessible from the Style tool - floating or otherwise.

Effectively one could use the User styles to collect your most used styles in a list that had fewer drill down steps to get to it.

Or, load it once to an image variant in an edit session and then re-use it using copy and paste if your habit is to create a "look" and apply it to most of the images in a session.

I already organized my styles with folders/subfolders to optimize the process. It works ok and it's not what I expected from this feature.

Shortcuts will be a really great solution, but I can't find anything about it or if this is even possible!?
I think from a developer view, it should not be that hard to provide a simple list or collapsing element with my styles which would be a huge improvement (especially in comparison to how many time each user spends in that dropdown). 😉
