Any chance for Leica M lens profiles in the next update? That is the big carrot for many Leica users to move from Aperture to C1.

    Hello!

Does the "CaptureCoreService.xpc" pop up into the dock now?

    Regards

Not by default - should be a background process...

This is a user/user forum and while I take 5 minutes here and there to check that things aren't burning to the ground, our primary resource for collating data is the support system. If you have anything at all you would like to see in Capture One then head to the support page and file a ticket with specifics. We read every case and it's then logged for our product managers to review:

I have same problem with 8.3 update. Capture Core Services keeps bouncing in Dock. Worse still the support page does not work. I cannot type anything into the description box.

    Same here…

    Any suggestions gratefully received 😊

Tried opening a support case. Does the fact that I got:

We are not able to register you case at the moment, please try again later.

    mean it still was received?

    No it was not received.

I've tested it from external internet connections and support system is working... (?) Please try again.
There is a script called "file packager" from the Capture One scripts menu, which will bundle the log info into a zip on the desktop. We will need this for these cases.

    Thanks

Thanks, James - Yes I have that zip ready for your help.

But I can't get your Tech Support to register my ticket.

    Any ideas, please?

Essentially, all I want to know is the same thing about the CaptureCoreServices.xpc, please - as here.

I eventually managed to log a ticket and got reply from a guy who did not understand and wanted a screen grab. But when I try to upload I get HTTP Error 500. Tried reducing size but still same problem !

Not that this would be of any particular help but I didn't see that core service pop up in the dock after upgrading. Also, I keep my C1 in my users application folder as opposed to the system level application folder, if that makes any difference.

What about the Nikon D7200 and the Nikon D5500 ?

One bug I noticed is that while the battery indicator on capture one is amazing (and long awaited feature), the animation doesn't change so it always looks full. It needs to e.g change colour to red and have specific graphics or even better yet a message appearing before its all gone as usually around 15% crashes the back! hovering over the battery indicator does show a more accurate state but its a pain if you're using a wacom.

Hi Phase people. Has the progress bar that shows an incoming capture disappeared when shooting tethered?

  • dale11833
I realize in camera tool that phase is trying to mimic the UI on particular cameras. That font size looks ugly in C1. We should be able to adjust font sizes in preferences.

    Hi,

It actually was gone already since one of the last updates of CO 8.2.x. Note that now the Capture button gets an orange ring around it during image transfer. Did you notice a faster transfer?

    Hi Paul,

I do not see an orange ring around the capture button during image transfer. That would be perfect if it worked.

I am on a Nikon D800 at usb3 speed. They seem to be coming in faster.

Why did you get rid of the progress bar? As a tech, right when the photographer presses the shutter that bar tells me images are transferring. It takes the guessing out of waiting to see if I am actually connected.

The progress bar has gone yes.

The transfer is now (typically) with USB3 (and the new tethering module) on disk before we can draw the bar.

If you shoot a lot of images into the buffer, orange segments will appear around the capture button to indicate buffering.

I do not see any orange segments around the capture button when shooting 12 images in succession.

I NEED to see that bar!

The XPC module running in the dock appears to be an issue with 10.9 - 10.10 and all is as it should be.

It is a little strange, but nothing that affects performance or operability. It should be left to run while you are using Capture One.

    Hi Jim,
"XPC module?" Is that a response to my progress bar questions? I do not understand what you're saying.

XPC is in relation to another post in this thread. Sorry its out of context. The answer above that is in relation to the progress bar. I have addressed my post logic. Apologies

Thanks for that info, Jim_DK, about the XPC module.

Although I obviously do not need to submit a ticket on that issue, then, were you able to solve the inability of your ticketing system to accept new tickets (yesterday), please - in case of anything else?

(I still don't get notifications of replies to my posts on this forum despite having all the correct settings, as far as I can see; is that known issue as well, by any chance?)

    Good luck!

It's not working in my C1 8.3 with d800 on mac os 10.10.3

Maybe I need to do a clean install?

  • Richard Seldomridge
Dissapointing that they didn't include more RAW support. In particular the Canon 750D/760D & M3, all have been shipping for a while now and other software supports them, but Phase One won't comment on if they even have plans too.

Fresh install is always a good idea when experiencing issues! Progress bar works fine on my Mac Pro (2013), 10.9.5, although transfer is so quick on IQ250 you don't see it for long 😊

I tried a fresh install. D800 tethers but no progress bar or orange ring and no live view either.

  • dale11833
Same here. After fresh install still no progress indicator with the D800. It does work with a p45+ on a H4x body.

I have a support case started with regards to live view and the orange [progess bar?].
I had a PS from tech support that the orange ring does not work with Nikons. I suspect it is a Phase One Only senario.

Tech support suggests that live view is a camera problem, but it works with Nikon's Camera Control Pro 2 and Sorfortbild.
