    There are plenty of USB midi controllers on the market that will do a similar thing. you can bind keys to various switches and sliders..

    I've thought about it, not sure how it would fit in with my workflow tho' just as easy to mouse over and use the scroll wheel?

    Would fit perfectly with mine. A dozen dials to control the adjustments I use most (exposure, contrast, saturation, highlight recovery, you name it) would save a LOT of time as compared to moving the mouse around the screen.
