Session Bug - Current folder keeps disappearing

When I'm editing, whatever folder I'm in keeps disappearing. The screen goes blanks and says 'No Collection Selected'

    This happens to me frequently as well, and I noticed similar behavior in every other application on my Mac. The focus of the cursor goes to another application (or no application at all). Only in CO7 the spontaneous deselecting the current folder made me aware of the issue.

    I am on 10.9.4. Maybe upgrading to 10.9.5 helps, in other words, I tend to believe it is OS X related.
