Have you refreshed the smart album selection but still have no success?

I seem to recall an update issue with smart albums. Try closing and re-opening the catalog. I *think* this was an issue that was solved at some point?

Sorry I can't be of more help,
    Peter.

I have experienced same issue but with moving files to different location. Sometime closing-then-re-opening the catalog/session solved the problem.

I too am having this issue within a session. I just lost 80 shots worth (3 days) of ratings and toning.

Tried all the little lifesaving tricks I know after years of struggling with C1 to no avail.

Hopefully someone at Phase One sees this and finds a fix... perhaps adding the synchronize function from Catalogs to Sessions? It would enable us techs to utilize strong renaming programs like A Better Finder Rename while not fucking ourselves over within Capture One or relegating ourselves to using C1's inefficient renaming options.

Or you could create a Support Case and not have to hope that you description of a problem is enough to get an unofficial uptake form Phase.

Plus you would get an official response and maybe the support you need to resolve the problem in one way or another.

If you are using sessions, as I do, I have not seen a problem with renaming. However I don't use it very often.

    HTH.

All of what you say is, of course, true. At the time of writing I was on set looking for a quick answer and thus couldn't dump a bunch of effort into it.
