dual or quad core MB Pro
I need to replace my 2012 15" Macbook Pro.
Would a dual core 13" with 16 GB RAM Retina be a good replacement (not withstanding screen size) or would you recommend quad core 15" with GPU?

No brainer: quad core, the hands down winner, takes it all. 😉

If you are planning on using it with CO (which I guess, since you're writing here), buy all the horsepower you can get your hands on. Especially during processing, CO will use all it can get hold of. 0 -
