Panasonic FZ2000 RAW files.
I have recently upgraded to a Panasonic FZ2000 Bridge Camera. I previously had the FZ1000. The results from Capture One Pro 9.3 for the RAW files from the FZ1000 were spectacular - much better than any other RAW processor. I know that Capture One Pro 9.3 has a specific RAW profile for the FZ1000, but not (yet) the FZ2000. What should I do? Is there a way to force Capture One Pro 9.3 to use the FZ1000 RAW profile it has with my FZ2000 RAW files? Both cameras have the same sensor and produce RAW files with the .RW2 extension. Does that mean their RAW files have the same format - in which case the FZ1000 profile should work. I am speculating so would be very grateful for any help.
Thank you,
Spok.

There's no guarantee that the same sensor means the same data is captured in the same way and then made available to RAW converter programs.
I'll leave it to those who have successfully tweaked things to make an Application recognise a device as a being a similar device and thus allow the files to be processed to give you advice on that one.
Meanwhile the way the the C1 team manage requests for new ideas and camera and lens support if through the Support Case system. It would be a good idea to create a Support Case to let them know that there is interest in the camera amongst the C1 user base.
HTH.

Thanks for the reply. So I would like to know if (and how) I can select the FZ1000 profile for processing of the FZ2000 files. I know it may not work but I would like to try. I cannot see an obvious way in the menu structure.
I will start a Support Case for the FZ2000 as I think it will be as popular as the FZ1000.
Thanks again,

Did you get Capture One to finally read the CW2 files as I've just got the Panasonic DC-FZ200 as a back up camera for carying around with me and although the Capture One page on compatible cameras states that the files can be read Capture One Pro 11 isn't doing so?
