File Size Limit for CO7

I created a couple of panos today from files edited in CO7.
The first was from 10 photos, and the resulting file was 91.025MB and 12,865 x 7842 px.
CO 7, in a session, opened this and allowed me to work on it.

The second was 101.974MB, and 21,271 x 3,182 px.
CO7 simply quit when pointed at the folder containing this file.

LR 4.3rc imported both of them.
