Questions from a newbe
Hi There,
I'm evaluating Capture One Pro as an Alternative for Apples Aperture. While testing I get stuck on two problems I couldn't solve and couldn't find information about them in the documentation:
1. How can I apply metadata to all selected pictures? I tried selecting a bunch of pictures but it will only edit the metadata of the first picture.
2. How can I import new pictures to an album? When importing they are all placed in the catalog and I have to assign them out manually
Maybe there will be more questions when getting into it more deeply.

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the forum and the Capture One world.
A1. The copy/apply sequence is something that you may need to get used to first in general. Editing only applies to one image, the so-called Primary Variant. Through copy & apply, you can bring adjustments from that Primary Variant to others selected. To become more familiar with how you can adjust images in general and the copy/apply process, you may find the tutorials on this page helpful:

You might also discover the Ambassador's benefit. 😉
A2. Images that are already imported can be dragged to an album. To directly put images during import into an album, select that album *before* you import, and in the import dialog, Import To, Collection > Selected Album.0 -
Thank you! Your solutions work for me.
So the next question: Always when I switch to fullscreen mode, the Toolbar is hidden (I don't want it hidden automatically). So I disabled that - but when I close the fullscreen mode, and open fullscreen mode again, the toolbar is hidden again. How can I setup my own environment for fullscreen mode (saving my environment didn't help)0 -
I am afraid that full screen mode does not include the toolbar... 0
