Regarding sharpening, please compare the Capture One preview at 100% or use the focus window. Same for Photoshop, enlarge to 100% before compare.
Have you checked the state of the 'disable sharpening' checkbox in the process recipe?

Your post suggest more than only sharpening as adjustment is not applied. Such as?

Capture One and Photoshop do not exchange files or data. CO processes a raw file into a RGB file (in general) with your adjustments applied, save the file to disk and next the file is opened in Photoshop.

I did enlarge to 100% based on your advice and can see a definite difference between C1 and PS window of same file, PS is not as tack sharp.

Have you checked the state of the 'disable sharpening' checkbox in the process recipe? Yes, box is deselected.d

Your post suggest more than only sharpening as adjustment is not applied. Such as? I don't think so much in this particular image, but in other images it seems like the colors are not as vibrant. I think changing the background to match what is in PS will help in comparing.

Yep- Got this- that was the same impression I was under how it operated. That is why it is confusing me that the sharpening is not as sharp in PS once it is processed and kicked out to a Tiff file.

One other quick question- what is the "Focus Window" in C1 you are referring to in your post? I just slid the zoom slider over to get it 100%. I also closed down all toolbars and palettes for a clean view.

I read from another chap that he was having a similar issue- I was going to submit a trouble ticket and see if C1 can advise. One question on this though, C1 asks for a serial #, is that for the camera or software? I am thinking for the camera, but I wonder why they require this?

    Thanks,

    Doug

ps. Always thanks for taking time to help- you are always on here helping everyone....

Doug, you can find the Focus window on the Details tool tab.
No, you don't need to enter a serial # for software support. Is for hardware only.

Glad I could be of any help.
