Importing to subfolder using date

Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the format for naming the subfolder - currently, my folders get named like "januar 16 2009 12-54-12 AM" which in no way matches any of my selections for time/date formats in System Preferences. My personal preference would be something like "2009-01-16". By the way, to be really usefull, it would be nice if the subfolder(s) could be named by capture date rather than import date as an option, but perhaps I just haven't found the trick to do that 😊
