moving images between albums in user folders
i'm a new user of C1Pro - although i did use iview media pro.and i'm recognizing its ghost lurking beneath CaptureOne. i just imported my aperture library (referenced) into C1Pro 8 (8.3.052).
to say there are some inaccuracies in the imported 'folder/project/album/image' hierarchy is putting it mildly. however, i have a specific question regarding file management. when i move / drag an image from the image browser in one album and drop it onto another album (i'm in the imported 'user folders' hierarchy here) the image is not moved, but duplicated or copied into the other album, so that i have to go back and delete the image(s) from the original album. surely this can't be correct behaviour. the standard mac drag and drop behaviour is 'move' using the mouse-click, and 'copy' using mouse click + 'alt' key.
any ideas?

I like as it is, it is no a duplication but simply the way to have reference to same image in different albums: it may belong at the same time to a specifice event, to a specific place, to a specific subject, to a specific theme...this is the way I use it. 0 -
so i can't re-organise my albums. pictures from thailand for example which have found their way into the project 'japan scans' can only be moved back to their original project by duplicating them (not the masters, i realise) where they should be, then going back and deleting them from the album the import misplaced them in. i'm wondering what was the point now in using the 'import aperture library' feature. 0 -
I do not know the issues related to importing from Aperture, which I did'nt, but when re-organizing files even inside a db, I feel safer copying and then (if necessary) deleting as opposed to just moving. 0 -
Nevertheless, the ability to move images between albums would be a nice to have (or need to have, YMMV) for example by pressing a key modifier like Shift or Alt. 0 -

Added features are always well received. What is important, for me, is that the default behaeviour, without modifiers, stay as it is.0
