Question about adjusting tone curve
This might be a simple question for many but im just trying Capture one after years of using lightroom and im wondering if I can adjust the tone curve like this in Capture one (image shown is lightroom)?

Can you adjust the curve? Of course... in the curve tool. 😉
Am I missing something in your question?0 -
yes 😊
I am trying to move the lower end of the curve as shown in the attached image. I cant find a way to do this.
I do this to help create a matte effect with my images, something ive always done. This is the one thing I can figure out with capture one (bearing in mind im very new to it) so at the minute im having to export TIFFs to photoshop or lightroom to apply the effect. If I get this sussed then I can probably move my entire workflow away from lightroom0 -
Ah, thank you for clarifying.
No, the corner cannot be changed... yet.
But you can certainly make this adjustment first in Levels.0 -
Thanks drew. I must admit my ignorance of a good understanding of how curves and levels work, ive played with them in the past and stuck with what works so im wondering how I would get the same effect in capture one using levels as I would by raising the bottom corner of the curve in lightroom? 0 -
Levels input black level = 30 (or about there based on your screenshot)
Value of Zero on the Left. Value of 30 on the right (washed out blacks)
