Hello
Nikon D3 is already supported in CO 4 Beta 2 and D300 will follow.0 -
Thank you.
Will support for Capture 3.7.7 be implemented ever?0 -
Hi -
Would not be implemented in the current 3.7.7 version.
Any new RAW file support would happen after 3.7.7.

Will the D300 be supported for shooting tethered? 0 -
Any idea when raw support will be available for C1 update to 3.7.7 for theD3 and D300 next few weeks or next month? 0 -
Hi-
RE: RAW file Support
This has been done for both these camera(s) :
However, All requests should be logged into our Support Case System for Product Management to see.
D3 is being supported in 4.0, however keep in mind 4.0 is a beta.
Product Management will evaluate , decide and publish which cameras will be supported in future versions of our software.
So in answer to your question- it will not happen in 3.7.7.
For what version- you need to check our website periodically.
Kind Regards-

thanks for your answer...
i downloaded C1 v4 beta and installed it.. i tried but unfortunately i can't proceed the D3 RAW files... the functions to change the values like wb and so on are greyed out. if i try D2x files then it works...
if you mean the 4 beta can read the files of d3 then yess, but is not possible to work with them and create jps...
is this just a mistak of me or what is the official statement to the D3 capabilities of c1 v4 beta?
best regards and thank you

oops, sorry i was wrong...
i checked again and i found my mistak... ther are tons of JPG's which i created with my D3 NEF+JPG but the NEF are not visible in C1 v4beta.
is ther any trick to work or try the D3 (firmware V 1.00) NEF files??
thanks and sorry again for the confusion...

I also have not been able to see the D3 files. 4 beta asks to import but they don't show up. I direct the software to the correct folder and still they do not show.
I am running OSX 10.4.10 so I updated to 10.4.11 to see if that was the issue but have not been able to check to see if that worked yet.0 -
Many or maybe most of the users of C! PRO are pros and use the software to process RAW images. Currently no solution works for the D3 RAW files except ACR.
CI needs to accommodate the needs of the user base and responses like I have seen from the management are simply unacceptable. See response from JRA posted on Dec 5, 2007 --
I own 2 DBs (an H2 and P21+ ) and the software works as it should. But 3.7.7 does not work well with Leopard and the C4 Beta is simply a jazzed up $99 package and neither can process a D3 RAW file. And C$ Beta is not a pro version that we need -- at least I do.
So does C! want to keep the loyal customer base who have seen the C1 product outperform the competition (Adobe & Aperture), and now are being fed excuses and bureaucratic answers by the C! tech team? I hope so!
Tech team please answer these questions:
1. When will there be a workable upgrade for Leopard.
2. When will a Capture/Phase One product support Nikon D3/D300?0 -
Even with 10.4.11 still no D3 files.
Phase One, what's up it has been said that these files are supported?0 -
Hi-
4.0 beta questions/posts regarding D3 files should be posted here:
http://forum.phaseone.com/viewforum.php?f=19
Also please read the release notes and bear in mind 4.0 support for D3 is for
NEF files alone ( not combined with jpg) and it does not support the Compressed Modes.
Kind regards-

sorry guys, but i work with my D3, its not my hobby cam. i can't wait long and i'am not willing to work without compression because the memory cards would explode 😉 and i dont want to replace my cards with bigger ones if no need.
in our whole division we are looking around for an alternative, its kinda painful but we have to...
i still dont give up the hope for C1 😉
