Capture One 7 upgrade problems

I have just upgraded to Capture One 7 from CO6 and am regretting it! I'm using an iMac 10.6.3 and every time I try to open a session CO 7 hangs and I get the spinny wheel of death. I have a deadline tomorrow and honestly don't know what to do. I can't even open a session. The reason I upgraded was because I went to a seminar in London and one of the things that impressed was that CO 7 seems a lot better with high iso images. But now I can't even open them. Am very stuck - how can I downgrade back to CO 6 ?!?!?!

  I think you should be able to find previous versions under either the downloads or support link on P1 site. Your key from C1 7 will work for 6.

  Also, I don't get the proper 'icon' for Capture one when it's on the desktop, just the standard Mac icon for when it doesn't know what application it is...

  A few remarks.
  
  First, you can install CO7 next to CO6 and use each of them.
  Second, if it is not a typo, you use OS X 10.6.3. This version of OS X is not supported for CO7. Update at least to OS X 10.6.8. Your system might need some maintenance like repair permissions (Disk Utility).
  Third, CO7 is apparently not running normally. I suggest you open a support case to go into details if the previous suggestions don't work.
