Color Profiles for Capture One 6.1.1
Hi
I use a phase one P45 + back and a mac pro with a 27 inch display. What are the ICC profiles that capture one should be on? There are ICC profile for next adjustment capture and in process recipe should it be on phase one mac? I heard some ppl put it on Pro-photo?
Also on the 27 inch display should it be set on adobe 1998 or LED display?
Thanks

Hi:
To get "WYSIWYG", you should use:
1. ICC for P45+ that suits best for you (flash easy grey, outdoors, portrait, etc) and the proper curve (i.e film standard, high contrast etc).
2.Set the proof (view - proof profile - selected recipe)
3. Output recipe set to "embed camera profile".
With that, you will get the whole amount of color info.
Then, "convert" in PS to the color space that you prefer (Prophoto, Adobe RGB, sRGB or CMYK) the final copies.
As for the display, is best to set to "Led ", but I suggest that you can use a monitor calibration profile created by any monitor calibration SW.
