CMYK Capture

I don't think that's possible with any camera. Digital cameras capture using Red, Green & Blue sensors. You can convert when you process out the file. I don't know where your printer would have gotten that idea that it was possible... but I could be wrong.

Nikon confirms it is not possible with the D2X. Thanks for your input.

There is no such thing as a CMYK CCD or CMOS chip in the market today.
All cameras are RGB and so is your file.
However what they probably mean to say is that you should process your files to CMYK (make sure they give you the profile they are using) instead of processing in to RGB and later convert the file to CMYK when there will be some losses in the color space if you do this.
