graphic bugs on macbook pro
Hey!
Anyone else having problems with Capture One 10 and the new Macbook Pro?
When doing adjustments I get weird graphic bugs on the left side of my image. De activating graphics card acceleration fixes the problem but makes everything so much slower.
I am running Macbook Pro 15" with Radeon Pro 460.
I know this computer have some problems but I've managed to solve everything else with software updates but the problems with Capture One remains. Is this a know bug?
Thank you
/Felix

Hi Felix,
Yep, we are aware of the bug, and investigating.0 -
I'm not getting exactly that issue but I am getting issues such as:
1) After exporting an image I get a lot of artifacts like grids or streaks
2) After exporting an image, an area of the image that has a gradual black to to transparent gradient that looks quite smooth in Capture One, looks quite blotchy in the final exported image (doesn't matter what type of file it is)
3) Sometimes when brushing I get a weird color cast on an image, or hiding and showing layer styles causing the original image to show, then the enabled layers to show. Hard to do comparisons of the image with or without certain layer styles.
Also I have 2015 Macbook Pro.0 -

Not the same issue, OP is running the new 2016 MBP with the touch-bar. Please contact our Support Team, so they can take a look.0 -
Hello,
for your (Phase One) info (hoping it will help to tackle this issue):
I experience almost te same issue on my Macbook Pro 13" early 2015 (with i7 processor).
While cropping an image and dragging the crop area to the left of the image, an other image is suddenly shown for a short moment (1 to 2 seconds) and then CO switches back to the original image.
When dragging the crop area to the right and back to the left, I could reproduce this behaviour.
I tried but could not reproduce the error on other images in the catalog.
After switching Open CL for the display off (setting: "never") the issue disappeared.
After turning Open CL for the display back on (setting: "auto") the issue did not re-appear.
I did not quit Capture One in between.
Best regards,

Hello,
me again.
>>>
Edit:
Sorry, I was to quick. Forget the issue I described below.
The problem is in the images in this case, it is not caused by CO 10.
<<<
Another issue just turned up.
Cropped the next image (image is in portrait mode) and dragged the crop area to the entire right of the image.
At that moment, the right edge of the image got a blue-ish color.
After I applied the crop, I discovered that all subsequent, but not the previous, portrait images had gotten the bluefish color on the right side of the image.
The blue-ish color did not appear (i.e. stopped) at the first next image I shot in landscape mode.
Best regards,

I have a similar issue with fine 'grids' like a color overlay in some portions of CO 10 trial version on a touch bar MBP 2016 13" 3.3ghz i7. I'm planning on returning it unless this is determined a software bug.

What machine config do you have on that 13" inch ? 0 -

Any update here? I just received a 2016 touch bar 15" with 460 Radeon and get the same issue as the original poster. I'm hoping I just missed the fix. It does seem to resolve itself after 5 seconds or so on each photo but it's obviously not ideal.0 -
