Is there a way to set a thumbnail for a MP4 file

Im trying to use MP to catalog videos. MP4s specifically.

It seems that MP wants to show the last frame played of the MP4. I can set a frame, I have tried the "Rebuild" option but does not seem to cause any particular frame to stick as the cover of the MP4.

I have even gotten 3rd party software that sets a frame or image as the cover, but MP insists on changing the cover frame to match the last frame of the video played from within MP.

Is there a secret to getting this to work, or does it just not work?

  Mac or Windows? On Mac you click Action > Rebuild Item (Cmd+B) and it works.

  This is someting that doesnt currently work in MP and OS 10.11. We are working on an update to the software, let us know if ther are any feature rrequtests and we can pass along to the dev. team.
