Camera not connecting, tried everything, pls help
Hey there,
I'm shooting tethered with a canon 5Ds to an iMac 2017 with Mojave.
All the versions of everything is up to date: OS, Capture One, canon firmware..
When I connect the exact same setup to my macbook it works fine, when I plug in the cable in the iMac, Capture one can't connect the camera. I tried all the USB ports, tried disconnection all the devices from all the ports and leaving only the tethering cable, tried a different cable and nothing.
The weird thing is that on the iMac USB log it recognizes the camera and shows that it's connected to the iMac, but Capture One does not.
Any suggestion?
Thank you so much in advance.

And Canon is checked in Edit->Preferences->Capture Tethered Support? 0 -
I can't find this exact menu you mentioned, but if I go to:
Capture One 12 -> Preferences -> Capture
The canon box is checked there.0 -
I have a recent bug that would not allow tethering unless both cards were removed from the camera. 0 -
Thank you so much! I removed the cards and it worked fine now. That is very odd as it was never an issue before, also not an issue on my laptop, only my iMac. Anyways, all resolved, thank you. 0
