New MacBook Pros and 10.6.3

I'm not up to speed on any problems with C1 and 10.6.3 as my studio computers are still running Leopard and they are rock solid.

I have just purchased a new MacBook Pro and it obviously comes pre installed with 10.6.3.
Are there any issues installing C1 5.1.1 on my new machine or should I continue using my old notebook until the issues have been fixed. I have seen here serial number crash problems but this is a new machine so has a valid serial number.

Anything else I need to know?

As its a new machine with a fresh screen calibration I should be good to go if the crash problems are only related to those two issues.
