Do you have tiff and jpeg browsing/editing turned on in the preferences?

This setting only affect editing, not browsing. Images should turn up anyway, with or without eye-symbol (meaning read-only, when editing is deselected in preferences).

Help! All of a sudden CO 6.1.1 does not show jpgs and tiffs any more in the library tool - cannot access the files - what's wrong here? Any idea? Or need for a support case?

The library tool should show the folder. The browser is the place to show the contents of that folder. Do you see the folder with tiffs and jpegs?

Maybe it is my lack of imagination, but I have a hard time to understand what you try to tell.

Using CO 6.1.1 I see no more jpgs and tiffs in the browser. I only see raw-files. Nothing else. Before I could see all images as preview. So where is the switch to show jpgs and tiffs in the browser again?

There is no such switch. Jpegs and tiffs should always show. If you used a previous version of CO6 you could reverse the update and see it that makes the difference. Otherwise, I would open a support case.

So I returned to 6.1, and now everything works fine - except the "usual" "out of memory" breakdowns, esp. when using keystone-correction.

May I encourage you to report your issue in a support case to Phase One? Such upcoming issues between updates, appearing random, need their attention.

Excellent, Luke! So there is a switch (new feature in CO6). Learning on the job. Now wait whether this solves the OP's issue.
