Feature request: Search field in Capture One.

Hi,

I came from flexcolor to Capture One 3.7, and like the output (needs less work off the bat.) But I really miss a search field.

When I have a couple of days shooting that generate 500+ images pr. day, the client usually sends me filenames and often not in an ordered fashion. When I'm to find the images in the software I have to manually move up and down all the time to find an image I know the name of. Flexcolor allowed me to just type in the number, and the image would appear alone, making the whole process a lot faster.

So, if a search field could be introduced, I'd be a happy user of the new and improved Capture One Pro 4.5.

Bump.... nobody here needs to find files in a large shoot based on number searching????

Hi Axel, I think it's a good idea too but no one on the forum is in a position to implement this request you should take it directly to Phase One.

I know for sure the guys at Phase read these, so dont loose heart that not many users respond...

I'd like to see this too. I had a shoot with over 6000 1Ds files to work with and finding a file by name would have been a time consuming process.

Meta data tool has always been too basic compared to PS and Lightroom - I'm betting this being updated soon.
