capture 7.1 relaunch???

I've downloaded the 7.1 ver of capture one and when I launch it, I get this message:

Switching from Capture One Express to Capture One Pro requires the application to be relaunched.

After it closes itself, it doesn't restart.

I had a version 5 install of capture one some time ago but uninstalled it and don't even have it to reinstall to see if I can't start this whole sequence over again.

Any ideas on why or what to do?

  Tom,
  Sounds like a permissions issue on your Mac. Not all that uncommon actually.
  The simplest way to get going it to circumvent the issue and rename the Application itself. This doesn't fix the issue that exists on your system, but it get's Capture One out of this loop of permissions being denied access to overwrite the Preference file.
