USB Cable Extension?

Can anyone recommend a specific kind of usb cable? I'm shooting with a Nikon D300 into a MacBook Pro with USB 2.0 ports. Looking for something at least 10' long.

The best option is to use an externally powered USB Hub and two separate 5' cables.

Active USB 2 [High Speed] cables can give much longer connections. A powered hub is the best solution but not always practical. The last update in version 7 is the most stable.
