Deleting catalogues in C1 Pro 8

    If the images in the catalog are referenced, the catalog can be deleted without any risk using the OS Finder.
    If the images are managed the original are inside the catalog, you have first to open the package and save the folder "Originals".

    Correct, but whenever I need to move (copy an delete) files, in particular between different drives, I feel more safe using the finder as opposed to using the functions which are available in the applications (CO or Lr or anything else).

    Yes, it was my first thought as well to delete the catalogues via Finder.
    But since doing this could have negative effects (as i.e. deleting the database in Apple Foto App), I was unsure if this would be safe.
