    Hi all !

I guess that the font size on the tool menu has been increased for small screens 13', for bad or old eyes... That's okay for me 😊
But there is a serious loss of precision of the controls if compared to V.10 and v.11, now I am obliged to enter values by hand/keyboard. My opinion is that this is absolutely not fair !
For eksampel I am deeply happy with the new color editor, but it has turned to hell to be able to use it, the values jump by steps of 10 units as soon as I click on it, ha ha !

Hope that soon will come an upgrade with possibility to fix the font size of the commands, for good and bad eyes, for big and small monitors, og sÃ¥ videre 😊

    Mvh, Erichsen

Obs : my screen is sized 1920x1200 pixels, 26 inches.

Can you be bit more specific on which slider jumps in steps of 10?

    Michel,

Are you dragging the slider with a mouse (or mouse equivalent) or using the arrow keys on you keyboard?

If by the arrow keys, have you by some chance got a Shift key stuck down in some way? Or some maybe there is some sort of problem with keyboard mapping?

Shift + Arrow key will move by 10.

    Hi Christian !
Thanks a lot for you fast and quick reply 😊
I meant the settings for white balance, sharpness, brightness, HDR, clarity, and all tool bars with cursors.
I used to have them in a rather narrow space in order to have a larger picture, it was very handy, perfect and precise. With v.12, I had to reduce a lot the size of the picture and extend the tool frame, but unfortunately it's not confortable as it was with former versions...
    Best regards, ME

    Hi SFA 😊
Yes, I used a mouse to move the sliders. My mouse is rather slow as I fixed it. Since I installed v.12, I feel more useful to type the values in the little frames dedicated to each tool command, because it's more precise. But not comfortable at all...
I haven't used yet the keyboard arrows because I didn't know this was possible, this is quite new for me, thanks for your wise advice 😊
    Cheers, ME

Some of these little features can be a bit hidden but worth trying out in many places once you are aware that they might exist!

If you mouse has a scroll wheel that may be working too, depending on you mouse driver setup perhaps.

I use a notebook on which the touchpad can be configured with a scroll area and so works like a mouse scroll wheel.

Place the cursor over the slider button or the line of the slider that you wish to adjust and scroll. No 10x movement then on my system!

That said I use the sliders 99.99% of the time.

Indeed using the mouse wheel is usually a lot more precise than clicking-and-dragging the sliders.
