Trial version of CO 4

I had downloaded CO 4 a few months ago and realized after I downloaded it that it wouldn't tether to my 5D MK II, so I pretty much never used the trial version after that. Now that the tether support is available, I 'd like to try the software again. However, it won't let me run the trial because the 30 days has expired after the first download. I understand not letting folks "restart" their trial versions all the time, but I will only consider buying the program if I feel comfortable with its tethered capabilities....
Is there anyway I can try this trial version again on my Macbook Pro?

  First guess: create a new user, might get the 30-day period there.

  If you can keep a secret <g>, I have a second OS X installation on an external disk or small volume on the internal disk for this purpose. Because I have a DMG file copy (made with SuperDuper!) of the entire setup of that volume, I can easily revert to day-one (you get the picture?).
  
  Great for testing. I don't like having expired trials on my main copy of OS X. It is also an easy way to either test a new OS X release or update, or revert to a previous release in a few minutes.
