Photoshop Question

I edit a NEF file and export as JPEG or Tiff. When I open either of these files types in Photoshop 2019 CC ACR loads. Why is that?

    It's just an option in Photoshop, that you have to check if you want the files opened through ACR or not, I guess. I also had this truble some times ago, and discovered the trivial trick....

    The Photoshop ACR issue was unique to a specific NEF file. Perhaps it was corrupted which produced corrupted Tiff and JPEG files which invoked ACR to load.
