Problem with Sony A900 and Capture One 4.5
I downloaded and activated (as standard mode) Capture One (version 4.5) 31.10.2008 (4 days ego). This version (4.5) should support Sony A900 camera. But turn out, that I can't open RAW files from this camera (I can see broken image only - look at link below).
I haven't any problem to open RAW files from my Sony A900 using Photoshop CS3 or Sony RAW Converter. Is there any one who are opening RAW files from Sony A900 using Capture One 4.5?
Thank you in advance for any comments and suggestions.

Not having a Sony A-series camera myself, I believe that it is capable of creating different file formats like simpleRAW and cRAW (viewtopic.php?f=20&t=6047)
The cRAW format appears not be supported.0 -
Yes, this will happen with cRAW images. There is also a 12mp version of the regular RAW file which is not currently supported, but should be in a future release. Only full size standard Raw are supported in 4.5.1. 0 -

It'd be good if PhaseOne can state it at that time in the release note, when cRAW support came into action. I recall that cRAW of A700 was not supported in the initial CO 4.0, and later it became supported but since it was not explicitly announced as such (unless I was missing it), it took me a while to realize it. TIA for your consideration, if posible.0 -

I fully support this consideration regarding more explicit information in the release notes. With the current camera models, different raw file formats may or may not all be supported. I think of compressed NEFs (Nikon), sRAW (Canon), DNG versus PEF (Pentax) and cRAW (Sony Alpha) types, to just name a few.
Likewise, Windows x64 support and limitations may also more explicitly explained in the release notes.
I am preparing a feature request to cover the issue shortly.0
