Feature request- file name watermarking

Hi Ulf or anybody else who could put this in as a feature request-

It would be really really great to be able to have a watermark that is the file name. This would help with art directors and clients who rename files and then try to order finals of files without the name the file orignally had. Then we have to email the small JPEGs back and forth and it's a waste of time. It would also be great for my own workprints to be able to process out proofs with the file name in the image so I'd always be able to find it later. Currently I have to jump through some Photoshop hoops to get that job done.

    I had to read it a few times to understand exactly what you are looking for, let's see if I got it right.

    Basically a dynamic watermark feature which instead of using a static text or image when making a watermark on a processed file instead use the RAW file name dynamic for each induvidual images so the corresponding RAW file name will be embedded as a watermark on each image.

    IMHO this is brilliant!

    I would suggest a replacement character scheme where certain ^C sequences would be replaced at the time the processing is done. For example ^F in the watermark would be replaced by the file name, ^D by the date, etc.

    This would mean the UI would not change.

    This feature (even if implemented as per the previous suggestion) would save me a huge amount of time. I currently use the awesome GraphicConverter batch processing to do this, but this means my JPEG proofs are re-compressed, which is a bad solution.
