External Image Editor
Hi,
Am I missing a feature? In Aperture and Lightroom, Under IMAGE, there is a link called "External Image Editor"- you set the path to program such as Photoshop. When clicking External Image Editor, the raw file (tiff, or jpeg) and imports into Photoshop.
After editing the image, one saves (closes it) and it shows up next to the original image (in Aperture/Lightroom) with auto naming the file.
Thanks,
Michael

As far as I know, there is no such think ("Open With..") in CaptureOne (yet).
I am really missing this feature as well. This should be 1 day coding.
Tiff, PSD should be directly passed to the programm, Raws should be processed first.
Thanks for listening.0 -
Hi,

The non-Open With I can live without as you can do it through a Process Recipe, what I really wish they would implement is the
auto put in the catalog next to the Original File.
Being simple, all they would need is a checkbox under the "Open With" checkbox, that if selected adds it into the catalog. I kind understood the missing feature in CO7, as they were just getting into catalogs, but with the new CO8, I do not understand the feature not being there, have they not been listening to the complaints that it has not been their for the last almost 2 years. I think the complaints started the same day as CO7 came out.
