I do not know the brand gemini for drives - but did you try to start a new session - somtimes the acces privelegs are messed up. I had that a couple times.. on internal and external harddrives.

Starting a new session and copying the files in there did help out.

Ok, I format it again and hook up my laptop to the network and copy the file to the G_mini and it works fine, Then I tryed formating in windows and the problem is the same.
If I format in Mac the windows can't read it unless I format in windows then C4 can function, what to do.... Seems there something in the format..

When you like to use an external disk on both Mac OS X and Windows system, for file exchange for example, then you should pay attention to HOW you format the disk. Both OS defaults exclude the other (NTFS for Windows and Mac OS Extended (Journaled) for Mac). There is a common denominator (FAT32) but is less robust for current large disks. You can choose that option or consider a utility, either on the Mac or Windows side to overcome the inconvenient truth of incompatibility.

If I can only give permission to read & write then I would be ok, for the life of me I can't seem to give permission to read and write on the G-mini.

Are you able to give more details about a] format (see my previous post) and b] which computer can and which can't read & write.
With that information I might give you a more detailed advise or we only keep moving air here. You're call.

If i format G-mini on Windows N format then I can see the files on both computrr Win & mac but when I view the files on mac then it is only read only and CP will not be able to use the function but I can see the images, When I format in Mac the CP works but I cant view on windows. Only way I can use it is to connect my mac on a server and map it then copy the files over. or copy the files from G-mini to the mac hard drive and that will work also, the point is to keep my work in one location..
