Some but not all previews are black/blank
Hello;
I am using C1 Pro 3.7.6 with Windows XP. I have been processing portrait sessions all day with no problem until now. When I open a session in C1, the first image is my white balance card which displays OK in the preview and full screen. Then the next 18 images are black/blank in the previews and also full screen. All the rest of the images after the first 18 are OK and display properly.
I have closed C1 Pro and reopened it - no help. I have closed C1, rebooted the machine and re-opened C1 - no help.
I am able to process these sames images on another Windows XP machine running C1 Pro 3.7.6 with no problem - all of the previews and images display properly.
My camera is a Canon 1Ds Mark II.
Do you have any ideas why my previews are black and blank? Thanks!

Bill,
Were the images downloaded directly from CF card into Capture One witout using any other program?
First thought is what is set as the Preview Cache on this machine.
Using the Focus tab, can you view the display to see if RAW is corrupted or just the Thumbnails and Previews.
If it is just the Thumbs and Previews, these can be deleted and rebuilt upon relaunch.
To find the corrupted files, Crl + I to get File Info and look to bottom data field.
You will see the .C1w file name which is the same for .C1p
Copy and paste in Search for Windows to locate and delete.
Relaunch and they will rebuild.
Final thought may be a RAM issue involved.
Keep us informed as to any progress here.
Sincerely,
K C0
