Delete a file...?

I always get a prompt before deleting, whether to delete, remove reference or cancel. This can be set in your preferences in the Warnings tab in the Deletion section.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I'm Windows 8 x64 Pro.

I never new that Preferences/Warnings existed.

Just had a look in it. All boxes are checked/ticked, top to bottom - presumably, that is the default when C1 is installed.

Meanwhile, I just discovered the Session Trash folder. That's where my missing files are going.

But, just to be clear, if I right click on a file in the filmstrip and choose Delete (or simply choose Ctrl/Delete) the file is immediately sent to the Session Trash folder. I am not asked anything.

    Bug?

    Thanks again.

    D.

We need to consider the difference between

    - moving to the Session Trash
    - deleting (the image file from your computer, rather more definitive than moving the file)

I believe that what yot are missing is an option to be warned when

    - Moving a single image to Session Trash

As you can see it is not there. That obviously is a design choice, not a bug.

    Cheers,
    Mogens

I don't use sessions, not sure if that is what is causing the difference here... I am running Win 8.1 64bit.
