Importing Lightroom catalog in CapureOne
Hello,
I have been trying to import my Lightroom (4.4) catalog in CaptureOne (7.1.4 on Mac) this week. But it always crashed at some point.
I am willing to switch to CaptureOne. It looks like CaptureOne is a bit better to Lightroom, speaking about image quality and speed. But my catalog is essential to my workflow, and I can not imagine to start from zero again.
By the way, the print module looks a bit unintuitive to me. Could anything be made?
Also, a technical diagnostic report would be nice: Is OpenCL in use ? CPU feature, etc..
Thanks for listening

While IQ in Capture One is superior to Adobe LR
the catalog performances is far behind .....
importing a large LR catalog is almost impossible and importing a large amount of pictures is as painful
I guess this is the price to pay for using the 1st iteration in to the Catalog structure....

Hallo,
Ok. So I am not the only getting those issues.
I hope PhaseOne could get it working.
Rob: Anyone clear example where CaptureOne got better IQ?
As an example, I did not get better noise reduction under C1. But I confess that I am not experienced using C1.
