Controls: Choosing next picture/culling, adjustments
Please be gentle, as I'm slowly migrating from Lightroom (can't put up with it being so slow on a powerful PC!).
While waiting for LR is mind-numbing, when it works it's fine and I'm already missing some simple controls. If Capture1 has them I'll be very happy, but I just can't find them, so help would be appreciated.
The first and main one is picture selection.
When going through to rate and cull, LR will jump to the next shot automatically if Caps Lock is on, but there doesn't seem to be any quick dedicated key here. In a basic run through I can use the right cursor, but if I make any alterations, just to see if a borderline shot is worth saving, the cursor then reverts to a control for that alteration. I have to click on the picture (re-select it), to return the cursor to picture selection.
Is there a single, dedicated way of having LR type behaviour?
Second, are the local adjustment tools limited to what I see on the default screen, or do they have gradient tools? That is a very powerful tool I use a lot in LR and would find hard to do without.
Thanks in advance.
