HELP!! Can not open Capture 9 sessions within 12

I am use to this issue being resolved automatically when you open a session a new version of capture one. It is amazing that this is not in the basic support! Here I sit and can not access any jobs with NO instructions.

I get this error:

The session was saved with Capture One 9.0.1.20 and cannot be read by this version.

  You should be able to convert the SESSION file from V9 to V12.
  
  ONLY THE SESSION FILE!
  
  The images will have been processed with a V9 version of the process engine (or maybe earlier than V9 if you have previously update a V8, V7, etc., session to V9.
  
  If you wish to mass update the processing engine you can do so but it is not necessary and, indeed, not recommended since there are, from time to time, changes in the engine processing that MAY lead to unrequired differences if the engine is simply changed for a later version. (However if changed with involvement by the user the potential for improvements in results can be significant!)
  
  So you should be able to do what you are used to doing as far as I am aware.
  
  Could there be any influence here from operating system version changes over the V9 to V12 period?
