I have installed and registered my CA ver 7 on a Sony VAIO Duo 11 laptop with Windows 8.
CA1 imports the files and I can see them, but when attempting to edit, it will not let me do it.
Anyone else having the same issue?

  Running 64bit Windows 8 with no problem at all.
  
  Have you tried turning off Open CL? ('edit' - 'preferences' and on the 'general' tab, about half-way down under 'Hardware Acceleration', change the drop-down boxes to 'Never'. This may help (It seems to cause a lot of problems for some)

  I figured out what the cause is.
  I activated CO DB instead of PRO version on that laptop.
