Dates
Hi,
do anyone know what date C1 uses when importing tiff-files.
Its not the exiftag-datetimeoriginal, I think its exif-datetimedigitized.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
AFAIK C1 doesn't touch the EXIF data at all in these data fields. Using this data for doing what?0 -
Thaks for the answer.
The photos are dated inside C1 and that date is provided by the tif-files exif info (?).
I suspect that C1 uses datetimedigitized as I said (and that is not the correct date to use in my opinion).
The date/time a photo is taken is provided in datetimeoriginal not datetimedigitized.
Discovered this when I had a lot of tif-files with the wrong date/time inside C1.0 -

How do you determine this? Do you rename with tokens on import?0 -
By looking at the metadata-info inside C1 where I can se the date, has nothing to do with tokens or renaming.
The actual exif-info in the file is easily inspected via exiftool and a lot of other viewers.
Since my las post I tested one tif-file where I changed datetimedigitized to the correct time (datetimeoriginal).
After import to C1 the correct date is displayed in the metadata so Im even more sure of this than before.0
