Nikon D3s

D3s raw files work fine in capture one 5 although I realise the camera is not yet supported for tethered shooting. Can I assume then that there is no reason to not use CO 5 to process these file before it is officially supported in the software and how long does it normally take
for a new camera to be integrated into the software?
