Focus Mask

I have recently downloaded Pro 8 onto my Mac. I have been trying many of the tools available. However, the Focus Mask appears to do nothing when switched on/off. I have been into Preferences and adjusted the sliders to many positions but to no avail. I know this is tool is show areas that are IN focus and have used it on photos that really ARE in focus, but still get no joy. Any ideas?

  First, it works with original raw files only. Maybe you are viewing a jpeg or tiff or converted DNG?

  I have been trying it on RAW files downloaded from my Lumix G6

  I would ask Phase One support for looking into it, that is open a support case.
