So would someone kindly explain to me, what these ´upper´ sliders in the levels-control do ?

If I have a shot where the brightness values are hard-up against the right-hand side of the histogram I will use the upper right-hand side slider to bring the values back into the histogram. Likewise I would use the upper left-hand side slider to increase the brighness of the blacks.

Think of the two top sliders as an extension of the bottom two outer sliders, when you wish you could move the bottom ones out and you can't, move the top two in.

Thanks to you both ! I think I´m starting to get hang of it 😎

I´ve been using C1 Pro for 3 years now and been very happy with it... C1 4 seems like a nicely done upgrade (still waiting for C1 Pro 4) but those extra sliders got me really confused...

Anyway, I quess that with a bit experimenting I get the bottom of this 😂

    Thanks again !

    Hello
Try ctrl-F (Auto adjust) as a start

    And remember

SHIFT key apply any given command or button to ALL selected

Yes, I knew that and must say that the auto-adjust function works very nicely, except with levels... (it allways clips tones in the ends)

I understand, that there´s no need to use the upper-hand sliders if I don´t want to...but since they are there...there must be a good reason for it and I want to learn to use them...

There´s a saying in Finland - Kaikki hyvä aikanaan... I quess the english version would be - All good things for those who wait 😎
