Anyone with Capture 1 Pro for Win on a Mac Book Pro ?

Someone with Bootcamp tried that ?
faster then on OSX ?
Does it work tethered, any FW port problems with Phase backs ?

MIne 2.16 comes next week .

  I've just tried it on my MacBook Pro running Boot Camp / WinXP Home.
  
  I didn't do any precise timing tests but it seemed to process files in about the same or maybe slightly faster than the Mac version. I needed to try it as tethering with my Canon 5D is broken with the Intel macs in OSX for some reason. I'm happy to say tethering works fine in WinXP. Can't speak on Phase One backs as I'm not that rich yet 😉 ... and as a note the 5D works on usb2 so I'm not sure about firewire. So I'm not sure if this reply is helpful to you at all...haha.
  
  I will also add that I'm pretty surprised at the differences in the program. The WinXP version seems to lack many features of the Mac version and has a generally unintuitive interface. I realize part of it is just not being used to it's layout... but overall I still say the Mac version seems superior in most respects. Even though many claim the processing speed is slightly greater I would not trade that for the feature set. I must say though, that this an initial impression of working with it for about 30 minutes... it might just be an acquired taste. 😊
