Moving from Raw Shooter - UGG!
I'm simply lost. I'm a bright guy, but 4 years w/ Raw Shooter (coming from C1 v 3.0) which is so simple and fast to C1 Pro is just killing me.
My latest issue is that as I was about to process 900 images... I clicked on something that generated 2 sanp shots of each image. Once I spent 30 minutes deleting them all, now C1 won't let me batch process. It's making click cntl D on each image - one at a time.
I will be happy to "pay to play" to give me access to someone who really knows this program. HELP! I've switched and I Can't Keep Up!"

Overall...adding features is going to create some complexity in the interface of any software program, wether Photoshop or COne. What you have apprently done is create a variant of each file, and then attempted to perform a batch action while in primary (single file) mode. You can confirm this by looking at the toggle switch directly under the "Help" menu. If it's orange, you can operate on a selection of multiple files...if it's not, you are operating on only the primary selected file, even if it's within a selected range. This is a very powerful and productive option...not one meant to confuse you.
What I might suggest is to read through the rather complete manual ( available under the "Help" menu), print out the keyboard shortcuts for reference, and also view as many of the pertinent videos available on different features....
IMHO, when moving from version to version in COne..esp from 3.x to 5.x..one should plan on spending some time learning new features before using it for production work.....JUST as we expect to do with Photoshop et al. A couple of hours exploring the interface before working on client files is much more productive AFA learning OTJ...0
