Cannot draw crop rectangle inside a cropped area

One thing annoys me like hell in Capture One pro 7 is recroppinn. Whenever a crop area is set you cannot draw a crop rectangle inside it. You have to zoom out and drag the borders to achieve the desired crop. Any chance to fix this?

    It's a feature request that's been put in some time ago but will take time to redesign the tool.
    The main issue concern that we hear about is the Crop function in conjunction with the Automatic Lens correction as it automatically applies a Crop to hide distortion.
    I can agree that this can get in the way of an efficient workflow and we hope we can change it in the future.

    Yeah, that leads to my problem too. Whenever done automatically of manually, the recropping is painful. Ok, I wait patiently for this feature, thank you.

    Use Shift as a modifier;

    How would I have known about this enhancement? I didn't see anything about holding shift in the release notes. Are there other tips we should know in this or even prior releases? I was just ho-hum about 7.1.1 at first, but now I will surely update.
